Jessy Bakes

Thanks to Bakerella’s post about chocolate chip cookies I had to make some.  My old stand by recipe is on the Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chip package.  I always use the mini morsels, but the cookie recipe on that package is still just the original Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.  You get more chocolate in every bite with the mini chips.  Hooray for more chocolate!  

Sometimes I substitute half the flour with whole wheat flour (still tastes great, just a bit heavier… more cakey).  I usually only make half the recipe too.  This time I just made the normal full recipe.  I was good though and only baked a dozen.  The rest I made into little balls and stuck in the freezer in case I need another cheat day.  Cookies have a way of disappearing around here in just a couple days.
